About me!

I currently live and work in Austin, TX. I work at National Instruments, in the Vision group (the main project I work on is NI Vision). I graduated from Rice University in 2003 with a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics.

I was a member of the Austin Civic Chorus from 2003-2004, and I was a cast member in the Austin Summer Musical for Children in the summers of 2004 and 2005. In 2004 I was Little Boy Blue in "Fractured Fairies and Tales", and in 2005 I was "I Don't Know" (a baseball-playing Indian) in "Peter Pan and his Lost Shadow".

I was involved in a number of clubs at Rice:

• ACTS, or Assorted Christians Together Singing. We're a choir (although I play piano) that gets together every Sunday night to sing and praise God. We also go on tour after graduation for a week, which is tons of fun.
• The Rice Philharmonics is a mixed a capella group that I sang with.
• I ran the Rice High School Math Tournament in 2002 and 2003. I also participated when I was in high school, which is kinda neat.

I was also a chorus member in the Houston Revels in 2002, and it was a lot of fun! The national Revels site has more information about the show - it's basically a cultural celebration with music and dancing and such.
