Some people are pretty dumb. Honestly, though, I'm surprised 47% were in favor. It makes me hopeful that it will succeed in other areas.

Been adding a few restaurants to Where's Lunch. It's really nice, by the way. Have you considered adding phone numbers or hours of operation? I know many restaurants have these on their websites, but occasionally you have to do some searching or clicking to find it. Just thought I'd mention it.

Also, I know most restaurants offer takeout, but do you think it might be worth having an indicator as to whether or not one does?

Again, great job. I'm looking forward to using it quite a bit!

I like whereslunch. It looks promising. I find it oddly amusing that just the other day I was thinking about how often my co-workers and I debate where to go for lunch (or, more often, don't have ideas) and how a well-developed web application could provide a solution for not only us, but possibly the rest of the world - and I actually spent a few minutes musing over what it would take to develop such a site. Looks like you pretty much beat me to it, though. :)

I got "normal" also, but I was also a bit put off by two extremes being my only possible answers to a question that ought to have a lot of middle ground available (like brittongregory said). Why can't the meme creators give a few more options? The whole world isn't black and white; there are many shades of gray.
